From what I understand, this beast only has one more nesting cycle in our home, and even that will be in abbreviated form. While I will miss its presence to some degree, I will also happily bid it farewell in the hopes that it takes up residence in some other grad student's home afterwards. As for me, folks, I'll be back next week!

Why I've Not Been Around
There's a monster lurking around these parts. Its scientific name is Finalsweeksus Gradschoolicus. Its primary diet is take-out food and its preferred habitat is within the chaos and disorganization its mere presence brings with it. It is mostly a nocturnal animal and, as you can see in the photo below, it enjoys nesting on my desk:

Congratulations on finishing (or almost finishing!). So exciting to see that light at the end of the tunnel! Wanting a baby is speeding up the end of my degree too!
